Study Options

In line with its goals and visions, Queensford College has several study options designed to cater to the specific needs and demands of every individual seeking advance education.

Online Education

Online study is an option advisable for students who have regular and reliable access to the Internet and wish to study but cannot commit to an all-day class schedule. This study option gives students an opportunity to enrol in a program even if it is not offered near their area or if they cannot study in the classroom because of work schedules. Course requirements, scheduling, and work load are available in the eLearning platform which is very easy to use. Students maximise their potential as they study with great flexibility at their own pace.

Distance Education

Distance education, also known as ‘home-schooling,’ allows the whole course outline and learning materials to be sent via postal mail. The student then completes the assignments and sends them back via the same route. It includes correspondence courses or CD-ROM-assisted education. Majority of the resources are physical books and reading materials recommended by the trainer also as their reference text. Dedicated trainers and support team are available throughout the learning experience.

On-Campus Education

Students can enrol in highly competitive programs offered through on-campus education in Brisbane. This is the most common study option and it provides traditional classroom-based education with added hands-on training needed to acquire skills for future employment. Face-to-face encounter and actual social interaction are the main advantages offered by on-campus education. Ideally, it promotes an environment suited for individual progress and interpersonal development while getting ready for a promising future ahead.

Blended Method

The blended delivery method involves a combination of classroom-based education and online learning. Some lectures and assessments are accomplished during class hours on campus with the assistance of the trainer. Other course requirements are completed through the Internet. Students have the opportunity to have traditional delivery of classes with modern education through eLearning. This method is ideal for those who wish to develop their qualifications but require flexibility and variety in their schedule.
